Through special events, camp scholarships, and the Playbook for Life, our mission is to reach at-risk youth through their interest in athletics and provide programming that shares leadership, social, and teamwork skills to help set them on path for success. Team Hill Foundation was started in 2010 by the Hill family and since our inception, we have hosted over 2,500 kids for Team Hill events.

 

–The Hill family has achieved much success in collegiate and professional sports and wanted to share their knowledge and experience with at-risk youth in a way that shows them they have a support network, and provides life and leadership lessons to help put, and keep, them on a path to future success.

 

Fred Hill Sr. is the winningest coach in Rutgers baseball as well as Rutgers athletics history. Hill Sr. is also a member of the Rutgers athletics hall of fame as he totaled 1,089 victories in 39 seasons overall. Brian Hill has over 30 years of experience coaching basketball, previously as the head coach of the NBA Orlando Magic and Vancouver Grizzlies leading the Magic to the NBA finals in 1995. Fred Hill Jr. is the former head men’s basketball coach at Rutgers University and is currently the assistant coach at Seton Hall University.  Jim Hill played for his father on the MSU baseball team that played in the 1983 College World Series. He is currently the owner of multiple businesses for the past 27 years including the Fred Hill Sports Academy located in Verona and East Brunswick. Together they have teamed up to give back to youth in sports.
